We spent Thanksgiving Day in New London. Caroline was particularly taken with Grandma's creepy doll.

Friday

We got home around 10 pm on Thursday night, and I went shopping until midnight. I fell asleep around 12:30, and Caroline was whining and in bed with us around 1:30 am. She seemed very uncomfortable, kicking, rolling around and very tired. Around 2:30 am, she was laying next to me and started puking on the bed and my pillow. After we cleaned her up, I put her back in her bed and was able to settle her down, and around 3 am, she fell asleep. Then around 3:30 am she started puking. Joel heard her and went to get her. She had puked and was sleeping in it, so we cleaned her up again, then Joel slept in her room, because he was scared we wouldn't hear her puke again. He said she puked every half hour until 5:30. Ugh. She was a little rough the next morning, and my Black Friday shopping plans were ruined.

Caroline was home sick.

We did a quick trip to the MN Zoo. Before we left, Caroline peed on the toilet! Honestly, she could totally be out of diapers if she wanted to be... it's just unfortunate she doesn't want to be...

Caroline helped me make muffins for breakfast. She actually did a great job mashing bananas, measuring ingredients and mixing. Gotta love her new fake smile:

Joel and Bennett went to New London for some deer hunting, so it was just us girls at home. We had a great time walking the girls.

Grandma joined us for dinner at Panera. As we were eating and chatting, Caroline said she needed to poop. I didn't bring the diaper bag into the restaurant, so I was worried about what was going to happen, but her diaper was dry and we ran to the restroom. Sure enough, she did it. This was the first time she told us, in public, that she needed to use the toilet. Amazing! We celebrated by letting her pick out any treat she wanted, which of course was the cookie with the most M&Ms.
