No scary Easter Bunny for Bennett this year... or at least probably not, unless we decide to be mean parents. But this year they took pictures with a real bunny. Caroline was over tired and hungry, so no smiles from her, and Bennett was a little overwhelmed with the situation. I mean, tons of people, Joel and the photographer trying to get his attention, he hates taking pictures anyways, and a real live bunny. So much going on! He actually loved the bunny though, which is awesome because I was nervous he'd be afraid of it. But no tears from either kid, so I'd consider this a success!

Palm Sunday - Easter photos and spazzing Caroline
Mommy got in on the teeny bee boutique Easter photo special. So after Palm Sunday service at 9:30, we met up with Mommy's aside at ngon resturant in at Paul. We jumped into the car at 12:25 to rush to the boutique for our 12:35 photos on the rain. It was a little hectic but the babies performed well. I snuck a photo of the photographers ear and them at work.
The ride home was a bit rough. Lots of screaming and crying. When we got home, bennett didn't take a nap and Caroline was a little animal as seen by the following photos.

Today we went to the gym and library for storytime. Bennett entertained himself in the lockers while I fed Caroline. He wasn't really into Storytime and then had a big tantrum when we had to leave. Very frustrating.
Then Bennett got a haircut. It's pretty crooked. The left side is cut shorter than the right... And I don't know how to blend it, so it looks kind of choppy but at least it's cleaned up and we didn't have to spend $30.

Bennett had a great day at the Children's Museum and with the box house I made him. The morning started off well and I thought we were going to make it out the house by 8:39 like I wanted to. Caroline had other plans. She was due to eat at 8:30 and by 9, decided she still didn't want to eat. Frustrating! I was worried she'd be hungry in the car and scream all the way there. Plus she needed to take her antibiotics on a full stomach. Fed up, I just gave her the antibiotics (which Bennett kindly squirted all over the living room as I was trying to feed her. Luckily they gave us plenty extra) on an empty stomach knowing she'd get bad diarrhea from it.
The rid was actually relatively silent. It was pretty amazing. The museum was a blast but super busy because there were a few school groups there.
Bennett had a hard time being obedient and wanted to run around to the exhibits he wanted to see. I know he's only 2, so it's not like I can expect him to just look at what I want to see but still. He's really great at yelling, "No Mommy!" when I grab his hand to make him go with me. It's great. He makes it sound like I'm going to kidnap him and beat him or something... By he really enjoyed the bus and singing/ watching himself on tv.
Caroline was fussy before we left the museum. I was worried she was going to scream the whole way home, but she was really good! She let out a few wails to begin with but then fell asleep. I can't believe I lucked out the car rides today. Bennett was awake the whole ride home. We read a few books and Caroline woke up just as we were finishing. So Bennett napped and I spent some time with #2.
She was super happy and quick to laugh. Eventually she fell asleep and I made a little bed for her in the living room.
When Bennett woke up I decided to make him a house out of cardboard boxes, just like my mom made me when j was little. He was pretty happy about it but was mad he couldn't climb on top of it. He kept sticking his fingers out of the windows to offer me food. Police car cake, ice cream and crackers. For some reason he decided to wear his sunglasses. I really don't know why but he wore them for a good 15-20 minutes.
