Dancing at daycare

Parade

Bennett went to his first parade today. Joel had to work late so we decided to visit grandpa at the restaurant and today happened to be the day of the Columbia Heights parade. What luck! 

Bennett really liked the parade. He loved all the vehicles. The fire truck hornsade him jump and the motorcycles revving their engines scared him but he loved the rest. Halfway through he started to understand the candy gathering but was a little slow to get much. 

He actually got this candy on his own! He clapped and waved to people in the parade and would dance to some of the music playing from the floats. 

He had a pretty good candy stash!

Then Grandpa got him some candy. 

He had a GREAT time!

Joel dropped Bennett off at daycare this morning and Silvia immediately wanted to say hi. 

Daycare

Bennett went back to daycare after nearly 3 weeks away. When we got to his room, his friend Silvia, was SO happy to see him. She had the biggest smile on her face and went right over to him.

Wednesday June 19

Started the day off with Tylenol and he cheered up!

Then we went to trader joes for groceries, stopped back at home to drop them off, then went to work! We stopped by a job site then went to the office for a meeting. 

After our meeting, we returned home for a 1.5 hour nap for Bennett. Then we went outside!

Sometimes when Bennett won't nap I roll over and ignore him. It took a while but he cuddled up and went to sleep.
