Italy Day 3 cont.

After lunch we waited for Joel, who was on a lunch break. We never found each other until he had to return to the conference so afterwards we headed back to the hotel. I had to navigate the path alone (I was hoping Joel would walk us down during his break). 

 

It wasn't easy but we did it. Back at the hotel Bennett spotted an orange sitting on the desk, grabbed it and said, "ball!"  We've been eating a lot of oranges and he thinks they're called balls. So I asked if he wanted to eat it and he eagerly nodded his head. It was the second orange we had eaten today but it's my a bad food to love. 

Afterwards we say by the pool. Bennett wasn't interested in going in but say on the edge and kicked his feet for awhile. Then we went back to the room and both took a long nap. It was very nice! By the time we got up Joel was back. We went to the grocery store to but some water as then had dinner at the restaurant attached to the hotel. 

Then we went out for gelato and back to the hotel for bed. Not a terribly exciting evening but very relaxing.
