Italy Day 8

Exhausting day. Toured the Colleseum, Roman Forum and the Pallentine today... On a cloudless 90 degree day. Tons of tourist. Bumpy cobblestones with a stroller make for a giant headache. Basically I was 45% interested in what we were seeing and 55% miserable. But enough about me. Bennett was pretty hot and miserable too. At the Colleseum he was hungry and hot. Then he fell asleep in the stroller for much of the Forum, which was nice. But he had rosy cheeks all day today, from the temp plus he's been running a low fever because he's popping out another tooth. He does love the hussle of the city and is content watching traffic. Today was a day of 'hi's and 'vroom's from him. Sometimes he'll break out his train 'chug-a-chug' arm when vehicles passed. We took an afternoon nap from 4-5:30 and walked to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Both of those places are near where we needed to pick up our Papal Audience tickets. The fountain was completely shut
down due to maintenance and the fountain in front of the Spanish steps were as well. Actually, it seems that most things are undergoing some kind of maintenance. The Colleseum is also. Most of the pics are in Joel's phone but here are a few:
