Nova Scotia Day #6

We started off our morning with breakfast at the hotel and then went to the Citadel for a tour. It was a lot more interesting than any of us were anticipating. We did a 45 minute tour, which was so interesting, however, left us little time to wander around on our own. They also had a WWI trench exhibit.

Then we went to the Public Gardens to meet up with the rest of the family. I tried to snap some photos of the kids in the beautiful setting but Caroline was having none of it.

After lunch we took the four kids to the Discovery Center. It was so much fun! It was a science museum for kids middle school aged and younger, I'd say. We ended up spending 4-5 hours there.

There was a video game exhibit. Bennett played a game where he needed to climb a rock wall to destroy targets.

We were so glad we stopped at the Discovery Center, instead of the natural history museum. I don't think we would've spent as much time at the other museum. The kids were so engaged. Joel also took the older three to see a movie in their dome theater.

After the museum, we went to uncle's house for a dinner feast.
