Breakfast at the hotel. They made Bennett a waffle elephant.
We dropped the kids off with Tony and Nicole and headed north again for Scots Bay to hike Cape Split. The drive up was 1.5 hours. The hike to the lookout was 6km and was supposed to take 1.5-3 hours one way. We went at a good pace and reached the lookout in 70 minutes. It was a rocky, rooty path, but comfortable due to the breeze and canopy of trees. We sat at the lookout for nearly an hour to enjoy the scenery and have a break. The return only took us an hour.
After we went to Halls Harbour for lunch. I had a steamed lobster, while Joel had lobster Mac and cheese and Kevin had seafood chowder and a lobster roll. All were good.
