Saturday
Caroline's ear drum ruptured in the morning. We took her to the clinic and they said it was probably a continuation of the infection from the week before meaning the oral antibiotics didn't work. The next course of action was injectable antibiotics. Poor girl had to have a shot in each leg, three days in a row! Then after the shots, we needed to wait around for 20 minutes to see if there was an allergic reaction. She obviously didn't not enjoy the shots and did a good 10 second silent scream before vocally letting loose. Here she is zonked out after the shots.

After Bennett woke up early from his nap, we went shopping with Grandma.

Sunday
We ran some errands and then headed to the Chaska clinic for round two of shots. The drive there was nearly a half hour. We waited about 45 minutes before seeing the doctor. Then another 20 minutes for the nurses to give her the shot. Then waited another 20 minutes to see if there was a reaction. So much waiting and really frustrating way to waste a holiday weekend. Plus it was really hard to keep Caroline occupied in the room, until after she had her shot, which luckily knocked her out.
