The party was a big success. It was so nice and rewarding to see the reactions on peoples faces and hear their excitement over the tiniest detail on our house. The most discussed details consisted of:
1) Who was your contractor? And can I call him?
2) Your mother built all of the cabinets? Can she do mine?
3) Vanessa designed the house? You mean you didn't hire an architect??
With that said, Bennett did not have the best time during the party. But then again, if you has to listen to me talk about the house 15 times in one night, I am sure you would have gotten grumpy too. I snapped a photo as he was just lying down asleep after the party. Needless to say, he slept extremely well into Sunday morning.
