Saturday we went out to lunch and then to baby Jai's birthday party. Bennett was super excited to see Brielle since they hadn't seen each other in a while. Brian got some good pictures of them at the party.

Sunday we went to Grand Old Day. Bennett was super excited for the parade but was a little hesitant once we were amongst the crowds. That seems to be his thing now, scared of places with lots of people and he always asks to go home. But of course we stick it out and he ends up having a great time. We took some pictures of the kids waiting for the parade to start. Caroline has her usual expression on but I absolutely love Bennett's expressions in the photos. They are so him. Just happy, animated, slightly silly laughing at something. 

Bennett enjoyed the parade and would wave at people, so that was good. He got to feed a goat and wasn't at all scared to do it. 

Then he went on his first pony ride! I was planning on letting him ride a pony prior to going, because I knew they had them there and he really wanted to ride a camel at the zoo. And since we were all there as a family, it was time to let him have some fun. 

When we got home Caroline completely destroyed her outfit. How does one poop a little splotch of poop onto the floor like that???

Maybe she wanted an outfit change because then she got to wear something new and adorable.
