Today is the first day of daycare for Bennett and Caroline. Caroline had a rough night last night. It sounds like she is coming down with a cold. She came into bed around 2:30 am, and kept waking up screeching. Bennett went to bed late but woke up on his own around 6:15. He was in good spirits. I was really worried drop-off would be tough for Bennett.  Luckily for him, when we got there Silvia and Alice were already in the classroom.  He actually just followed them in, but then we made him come out, so that he could say hi to his old teacher and see where Caroline was going to be. Then he was content hanging out in his room. I stood by the door and called for him a few times before he came over to give me a kiss. No tears. He was telling me at home that he was going to cry at daycare, but I know he likes daycare too, so obviously it was a lot easier for him to go back than it was for me to see them there. Caroline has already managed to eat 3 oz this morning and took an hour long nap in her crib. They said she's doing great!
