After going to bed so late the kids still got  up at their usual time. Bennett was up around 7 and Caroline was up by 8. I hung out with the kids while Joel slept more. We walked outside for a bit and Bennett splashed in a few puddles. After everyone was awake we went grocery shopping at Publix. They gave each other a few smooches. 

Caroline fell asleep on the way back from the store and managed a quick 30 minute nap. 

Then she was ready to have some fun. 

The kids really enjoyed the water and the hot humid weather was perfect for pool time. 

Caroline was really tired but Bennett was complaining he was hungry so Joel stayed with a sleeping Caroline and we went to get lunch. Bennett must've been exhausted because he fell asleep about 30 seconds before we parked the car. He was literally talking just before we pulled into the parking lot and asleep when we turned off the car. I decided to wake him to eat and lucky for Bennett, lunch was near the beach so he got to take a few steps in the sand before we went to eat. 

He actually did an impressive showing at lunch and had a little over the crust left. After lunch we went back to the trailer so Bennett could nap and naturally Caroline had just woken. Joel spent some time with her so Sara and I could relax but soon she got to join the girls. 

The humidity makes her little waves pop. 

Despite spending all day with Sara, Caroline was pretty weary of her. Caroline is definitely more timid and clingy than Bennett was. It's a good thing she has an older brother to lead her through life. 

The rest of the evening was spent playing on the dock and eating dinner, which Bennett didn't want to take part in. Nothing we can do if he doesn't want to eat but he found swim googles he was infatuated with. 

The look of a super bored kid at dinner
